The STEM DLD (Discipline Learning Day) Expert Lecture held on 12th July 2025 at St. Francis World School, Meerut, was a significant event focusing on innovation, sustainability, and the transformative role of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in education. The session witnessed enthusiastic participation from various schools across Meerut, with school principals, educators, and teachers in attendance, reflecting a shared commitment to progressive educational practices.


The keynote speaker for the session was Ms. Abha Arora, a renowned author, director of Canadian Preschool, teacher trainer, workshop facilitator, curriculum developer, and an NEP implementation expert. A staunch advocate of holistic learning, Ms. Arora brought in her rich experience and deep insights into how AI can revolutionize STEM education and contribute to sustainable practices in classrooms.


Her expert talk delved into various STEM sub-themes, particularly focusing on the intersection of technology and sustainability. She illustrated how AI tools can personalize learning, promote inquiry-based pedagogy, and equip students with problem-solving skills that are crucial for addressing global challenges.


The lecture was followed by engaging discussions, where participants reflected on the applications of AI and the integration of STEM in fostering critical thinking and responsible innovation. The session encouraged thought leadership and professional reflection, enabling educators to explore newer perspectives on classroom practices and curriculum design.
